-Tough but very sensitive pencil float, perfect for pellet fishing in all but the worst conditions. Slim body gives very little resistance to the fish or on the strike.  A silightly thicker than usual wire stem reduces the problems of bent wire whilst givinggood stablity. Hi-glow hollow tips are easy to shot and very visable.

-The biggest problem with pencil floats is the fine nature of the body means there is very little balsa to hold a side eye securely resulting in constant pulled eyes, a spring type eye gets round this but causes problems with breakages on lines under 0.14 and also adds extra weight at the top of the body. Malman power pencils have a whipping of very fine but very strong thread securing a standard side eye in place, this ensures the eye is extremely secure. The whipping is barley visable and weights next to nothing as well so there is absolutley no effect of balance or performance at all.
